Amanita Muscaria or "Flyagaric" mushrooms are my favorite. They are the inspiration behind Alice in Wonderland, which is one of my favorite movies, and they are the most recognizable mushrooms. Paired here with a cat skull, you get a great compliment of white bone with white spots, contrasted with a deep red of the mushrooms meat. 
If you don't like the hanger you can unscrew it and add your own hanger, or add it to a display case.
